How to Apply

All applicants for City positions must submit a City of Huntington Park Employment Application form and any required supplemental material in order to be considered in the recruitment process. You must submit a separate application for each position which you are interested. All applications require an original signature.

Job Announcements

There are two ways to submit a City Application

  1. In-Person at the City of Huntington Park City Hall, see Receptionist. Business hours 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Thursday.
  2. By Mail: A fully completed City application can be submitted by mail to the Human Resources Department in City Hall by mail to: 6550 Miles Ave. Huntington Park, CA. 90255. Please make sure to attention envelope to "Human Resources Department".

Applications

The City of Huntington Park only accepts applications for open positions, that is, any position which has been announced and for which we are actively recruiting. Applications are not accepted unless the position is open.

In completing the employment application, be as thorough as possible when indicating the education, training, and/or experience needed to qualify for the testing process. Exact dates of employment are critical to determine qualifying experience. Please be sure to provide average number of hours you work(ed) if your experience is (was) part-time. Try to focus the information you are providing on the employment application to education and experience that is specifically applicable to the job for which you are applying. Other information may be provided, but full consideration will be based only on those skills that specifically qualify you for the position being recruited.
